About Me

Local Artist seeking wonderment and adventure throughout the world of art. I love looking at youtube videos of amazing artists and going to local galleries searching for new ways to look at art. I really appreciate the way art touches people, it's an amazing avenue of creativity, imagination, and talent. Painting has become more than a hobby and this blog was created to share that. I love the way modern day technology allows so many ways for upcoming artists to branch out. It is an incredible experiance to create something from nothing, to build a universe of color, structure, and soul from a blank sheet of paper.

It's mesmerizing to witness the work of so many talented people through galleries, and everyday moments.I will be reviewing galleries through this blog as well. I think people who enjoy art who can't always visit certain galleries, should be able to enjoy the experience and gain knowledge about the gallery experience. granted I'm also new to the gallery experience so it will be a joyful experience and you'll be looking at art/artists from a novice perspective.

I hope you've enjoyed this little bit of my rambling. I really enjoy art and it was suggested I start a blog so I can spread my work. Although I don't believe I'm at a professional level I am happy to share my work and hope others will appreciate a budding artist. :)

Now I leave you with a poem and my best wishes in inspiring creativity in yourself and others.

When we plant a rose seed in the earth we notice that it is small, but we do not criticize it as "rootless and stemless." We treat it as a seed giving it the water and nourishment required of a seed. When it first shoots up out of the earth, we don't condemn it as immature and underdeveloped; nor do we criticize the buds for not being open when they appear. We stand in wonder at the process taking place and give the plant the care it needs at each stage of its development.
The rose is a rose from the time it is a seed to the time it dies, within it, at all times it contains its whole potential. It seems to be constantly in the process of change; yet at each state, at each moment, it is perfectly all right as it is.
